TauKwa with Minced Pork & Shrimps
Ingredients
- 150grams minced pork
 - 2 shallots sliced
 - 2 cloves of garlic minced
 - 6 shrimps cut into small pieces
 - 1 pack TauKwa
 - Sliced green onions
 - Oyster Sauce
 - Cornstarch dissolved in 3 tbsp. of water
 - 3/4 cup of water
 - Optional: Kutsai (aka Kutchay) or Chinese Parsley
 
Procedure
- Slice TauKwa as seen in the picture. Deep-fry or pan-fry the taukwa for 3-4 minutes and set aside.
 - In a wok, heat oil and saute garlic and shallots. Add the pork and 1 tbsp. of oyster sauce. Stir occasionally.
 - Once pork is cooked, add the shrimps.
 - Add taukwa and 2 tbsp. of oyster sauce once shrimp is cooked. Pour in the water and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
 - Add the cornstarch dissolved in water and let it simmer for another 2 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
 - Garnish with green onions and chinese parsley (optional).
