SAWCLicious Recipe: Oven-Roasted chicken

This is one of the dish that I really like to make because it's just so easy to make. I can easily place it in the oven on a weekday and let it cook while I work. To add, it's so delicious and your kitchen will be filled with the rosemary aroma!

Oven-Roasted Chicken


Ingredients
  • Chicken drumsticks
  • Fresh rosemary leaves
  • Fresh thyme leaves
  • Coarse Salt, Pepper
  • Garlic cloves crushed and unpeeled
  • Olive Oil
Procedure
  1. Heat an oven at 190 degrees Celsius.
  2. Use an oven-proof baking dish. Pour coarse salt, pepper at the bottom of the dish. Tap the chicken dry and place in the baking dish. Generously add fresh rosemary and thyme leaves, salt, pepper, and drizzle olive oil.  Place a garlic clove on top of each chicken piece. Place the dish in the oven for 40-45 minutes or until chicken is cooked. 
  3. Remove in the oven and let it stay at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving. Spread the garlic on the chicken and remove the peel.
I like this with mashed potato or with rice and knorr seasoning!
